Vaping Etiquette: The Do’s and Don’ts You Need to Know

Vaping has become a part of daily life with many adult users. But just because a vape is easier to get by with than a cigarette that doesn’t mean ‘anything goes’—good etiquette is essential no matter where you are steaming up your device: in public, at work and on the go.

If you’re a regular user of a disposable vape, cigalike or other low vapor device then keep the following easy do’s and don’ts in mind and your life will be far more pleasant, also for those around you.

Why Does Vaping Etiquette Matter?

People seem to think that because there’s no smoke or ash we can vape anywhere. The fact is, most places treat vaping the same as smoking in terms of where and when you can do it: some people are not comfortable with a cloud of vapor wafting into their bubble, practicing good vaping etiquette not only sidesteps any potential awkwardness, putting you in a good light as a user.

The Do’s

1. Be aware of your location

Think for a moment before you lift your device to then your mouth. Are you in a crowded area? Indoors? Are you around children or non smokers?

In general it’s better to err on the side of caution rather than assume that all is well. Many of us would actually prefer to use simple carts/disposables or lower nicotine disposables for precisely these reasons—they’re so much easier to deal with when an ounce of discretion would reap the pounds.

A little silence goes very far indeed to letting folk know you do really care about them, and can have a fairly sizeable affect on how they feel about vaping on the whole.

Keep your Device in good order

Drippy, spluttering stinking things with a burnt taste are not only bad for you but are going to offend anyone unlucky enough to be near you. Bougie vapes with good delivery systems and steady taste profiles make for a better sort of vape when in public.

Now the Don’ts

1) Don’t Vape Where It is at all STATED to be a No-No

Airports, public transport, offices, restaurants all etc are getting clearer on these. As well as looking a proper twat you are going to get yourself in terrible trouble.

2) Don’t Blow your Vape in Other People

Seems a no brainer, but we’ve probably all been there. Busy bus?Exhale away from your fellow human!Don’t Assume Everyone Likes the Smell

Even if your vape smells a million times nicer than the stench of a nasty ciggie, not everyone is down with you blowing out clouds here, there and yon. Some people have a phobia against scents. Sure, happy vapor clouds make for a happy landfill. And to a degree, genuinely pleasant taste is for those who care. But some simply enjoy the serenity of not fogging up the air.

Don’t Chain Vape Where Others Are

Vaping in rapid succession near to others means just one thing: A huge cloud of vapor extremely rapid, so do try and moderate it for the populace; they may not appreciate you dining them through the vapor clouds, thereby partaking in a high stakes game with them!

Traveling & Public Use Tips

If you’re traveling on planes, trains and busses, etiquette matters all the more! Follow these basic tips and you’re less likely to earn bug eyed ire!

Do these…

  • Always check up on the rules in place locally (Weed prices vary from state to state!)
  • Travel with slim, disposable vapes that you can easily stow away any and everywhere
  • Bring a rechargeable device (Type C), unless you’ll NEVER vape!
  • Bear in hotel corridors, taxis, airports and such

Be warned, there are places like the UK, Germany, UAE, south east Asia, and even Australia, with all vapers with no etiquette!

Choosing the Right Device All Helps

It’s pretty great how merely having good etiquette is so simple, by virtue of your device doing it’s thing well. No one with a right mind enjoys a hacky, throat grabbing lass and so by simply buying a nice device with neat features like:

  • mesh coil,(you ALL know how bad dry hits happen)
  • stealthy [controlled] airflow
  • stable battery [voltage]

less prone to get your stank from the burnt taste your smoker/testo/little friend chomping on your fatass do.

Final thoughts

Although vaping is perhaps a more convenient platform for many, it is still etiquette that governs the entire shabang! And that goes for everyone——including you. One nice rule that works on the whole: If in doubt DON’T and if you Do, Keep it Low Key. That route keeps everything mellow and copacetic at work, on holiday, and doing your thing. And long term vapers/users who really do will hold far less of a problem, and have a much better time on the whole!
